Our Story
The Packaging Group Corporation was formed between Elliott Weller and Daniel Goolsby in April 1990.
They both had previous work experience in the packaging and contract packaging industry. Daniel coming from the mechanical and Elliott from the commercial side, combining their experience to advance the service offering with a better understanding of effective pricing, business requirements and operating procedures for maintaining a successful contract packaging business.
The business started as a packager of automotive chemicals. It then evolved into more fragrance related work for automotive companies. Later the fragrance part of the company evolved to direct sales of our own brands to Walmart and dollar stores for automotive fragrances.
The company became heavily involved with filling hobby paint in tens of different colors and many different sizes and shapes. Through the essential and aroma oil boom, they they ran millions of small essential oil bottles.
Becoming more structured over the years they were approached by a producer of all types of leather care products, which the company is still successfully producing and filling to this day.
Over the years, contracts and projects with animal care and food products were added which led to a full FDA approval.
During COVID the company partnered with a medical startup to produce custom designed hand sanitizer refills for medical devices. As part of this business relationship the company implemented a full GMP program with annual audits and started producing its own heated and cooled RO water.
Next came drinking water in spouted pouches as well as sachets, canisters and many other formats.
The company successfully launched also a pet care product line and with this it split into two business units
Auxilium packaging, for its conventional (and unconventional) contract packaging and manufacturing
Pawfume, a producer, packer and seller of premium pet care products.
